Good GPS, dumb lack of features

Used in in EU. Guiding is fine. Maps fine. Pictures of upcoming intersections really helpfull. Liked it.
However no screensaver option and if you plug in the phone, the voice guidance will mute. So you either have no voice guidance or your battery will die fast. How does that make sence? IDK if paid version is different? Im not gonna buy it just to find out.
