CoPilot GPS Navigation 앱 리뷰

Horrible GPS app

I used this app 1 time and canceled my subscription. It tried to take me 30 minutes out of route and the address was off by 15 miles. This app needs a lot of work. Horrible.

Several issues too fix

Won't allow widths greater than 102" in vehicles profiles; demands gps position for Route start. These issues make it totally unsuited for any type of heavy-haul.

Great Navigation App

Copilot is the best navigation app I’ve found. I like the data being stored locally on the device since cellular access can often be limited on cross country trips. Lots of configurability. I would like to see the app store your route so it can be reviewed later. Also the navigation algorithm needs work as it often sends me on a less than efficient route. Sometimes it tells me to exit the freeway only to have get right back on.

Behind android and no updates

iOS is actually on an old version and they don’t work fast enough or hard enough even on that version to warrant $120 a year. A joke. Truckerpath works much faster and seems to want to work for your money listening to feedback.

You made a change…please fix it

I have been using this app for roughly 7 years. I share it with a lot of people that do my type of job. Recently, you may have changed to where the app shows when there is a construction area or road closure. The map will not allow me to route on that area with the black lines now. Please make an adjustment to where we can route in that area. With my job, I have to go down those roads with oversize loads because the state permits us that way. This would really help my job. Thank you for looking into it.

Piece of

Every time I go to add a account and it won’t let me says everything is wrong. You guys are incompetent lead people down the wrong way of a freeway go the wrong direction all the time you had you down the train track says you think that’s what we need to take. You must be own

Database not very complete

Wanted this app for RV travel as Google Maps does not have trailer or RV setting. Tried to enter my route around the SW (S. CA, AZ, NM). The app could not find 4 of the first 6 campgrounds I tried. All were federal, state and county parks easily found on Google Maps. Giving up and going back to Google which has voice and traffic for no additional cost.

Indifference

I was charged twice within a week for my monthly subscription with CoPilot. I sent an email to CoPilot telling them this and that I would like to get a refund for the second time I was charged. They sent me an email back telling me to unsubscribe. I have unsubscribed and will no longer be using their app. It is a shame that they did not try address the issue I brought up. It’s been a great app for me to use while truck driving.

Good but needs improvement.

I have used several different GPS apps and found that I gravitate toward copilot. Your product overall is good here comes the but, it needs CarPlay feature. This would elevate your product substantially.

Old tech

I needed an offline gps during my travels when i dont have cell service. 2025 and no carplay support? No thank you

Photo location input no working

The rating would be 5 stars if the app includes the photo location input and update map including info provided by users.

Support can help

I contacted support and the problem was fixed asap TY. I will update how the new maps are working.

Unknown

Unfortunately I never got a chance to use the app during the trial period due to a cancellation of the camper that I had reserved. Without an opportunity to try this out, there’s no way that I’m paying for an annual subscription.

Worse than Waze

Tried the 2 week trial. We have a 44’, 42k lb coach + tow. CoPilot took on roads that would be tight on a motorcycle! Seriously, we were on 2 lane county roads through the mountains. It wanted us to make a 120 degree right turn. It took us on a route where trucks were prohibited (we couldn’t turn back). And to a bridge w/ an 18T limit. Then when we missed a turn it kept telling us to make a U-turn. That would be fine in a car. There was NO chance in the coach. Overall, complete failure of mission at every opportunity.

Wish there was better GPS accuracy

I will start with, I like the planning tool. I like that it gives optional routes. What really is bugging me is the almost consistent wrong directions when you are in close to your destination. Like 2 miles off sometimes or wrong direction when a turn is indicated. Because these things are key to good navigation my rating is low. I am on an IPAD pro about a year old. By the way when my wife uses google maps it gives contrary directions compared to Co pilot GPS. It also does not protect 60 foot of coach plus towed vehicle.

What Happened?

I don’t use the app in years. We wanted to download a map of a country. I’ll be going to in about a week. I can’t download it. I can download other maps I have downloaded before. Also, the app seems incapable of finding any addresses in Sweden Thank goodness one can also pre-download maps in Apple Maps so this GPS app is not necessary

Not the best

I tried this app. I was not pleased with the guidance as far as advance lane guidance. There was a yellow smudge on the route instead of an icon that confuses. It takes up a lot of storage space in my phone. Other than height &. width and campground info it offers nothing than google maps offers for free. This company needs to by a Garmin Dezl and learn from t.

Mile on copilot comparability is garbage.

To frequently when I try to use mile on with co pilot to plan a route. The route does not transfer from mile on to co pilot. I pay for both and the functionality does not give me what I pay for. Would not recommend.

Horrible

How does your app not know that a street is a one-way street. This makes no sense at all whatsoever and I just did an upgrade on the app itself and you’re telling me that it’s still having the same issues. Unbelievable this app is so unsafe.

Needs CarPlay

Love all the features of this Nav app. Can’t beat it for RVs or other vehicles that have unique travel restrictions or needs. Not having CarPlay integration though is very strange. When can we expect this? Please add this feature!

The worst navigation app ever

My company using this app however most of the time it doesn’t take me to the exact address I have to keep driving around to find my pick up / delivery location. If I have a load from California to Denver Colorado it will take me off the I70 to back roads and for more miles too. If I am going to California from Oregon or Washington state it will take me off the I5 to the back roads in north California warning me that there are low bridges or restricted road ( since when interstates are restricted or has lower bridges than 13.6) In Southern California on I210 it takes me off the interstate stating there is a low bridge 01 foot high. I wouldn’t recommend using this app even if it is for free. I would rather use google maps or Apple Maps and watch the road signs

not a horrible app. needs improvements.

it’s routing is good. Rv friendly. i like the route options it has. more than most apps. but i always have my phone on carplay and the use xm radio built into the car. when it mutes music to announce a turn. the music doesn’t come back on. i had to turn off (mute) the app. the worst thing about the app is no carplay. i should have done the free trial. my fault for that.

Meh experience.

Commercial truck. After 85,000 miles, the app just annoys me. It regularly loses my routing preferences, it’s buggy and crashes quite often.

App took me to bad route

I’ve been using this app for a month or so and it’s been good so far. However a few nights ago I put in directions and it took me on a road with a 10’6” clearance bridge, but my RV is 12’6” which I had entered into the app when I first started using it… not sure if this particular road was never updated on the app, but I’m glad there was a sign before the bridge so I knew to turn around. Copilot GPS should update this 😰

The Weight Stations

It’s a very good app but we need alerts for the weight stations and to tell us if the weight stations are open or close thank you

Bad

This app took me through a downtown historic district .. it should have kept me on the interstate. I’m using the truck version

Needs CARPLAY

Been promising for several years and it needs to be done. Trimble owns a LOT of various GPS tools, apps, programs for use across several industries. Surely they can manage that!

Copilot GPS

Good app, does it’s job. Especially helpful when you lose signal. One thing that’s need improvement, if possible and that’s is if it’s voice can be more natural. If it’s possible to use Apple voice language. I know on the android side the voice is more natural. Am talking about the Apple TTS. Or have a voice that can be more natural with TTS, like John or Lisa. Other then that keep up the good work. One more then is that when you drive a car, that it will use the car route, like for example when going to New Jersey. The truck uses the upper bridges, while the car can use the lower bridge. But for some reason it will direct the car to the upper bridges, which you will get stuck in traffic with all the tractor trailer.

Inaccurate & Dangerous

I drive for Walmart transportation and they installed this app into all of their semis and it is nothing but a huge mistake. Luckily I know where I am going 95% of the time but this navigation is lost 75% of the time!!

Intentionally limited potential

I honestly love this app, and I hope I can change my rating tom5 stars, but there’s some changes I’d need to see first. 1. Split View support for iPads - after being on the fence, I bought an ipad for my business to use over a cell phone as I saw the update log said Split View was now supported. It isn’t. When I contacted support, they said that was an error, that Split View support is built in, but only available to “enterprise customers”. Aka companies that pay a lot more. I can understand limiting some features to enterprise customers, but Split View is a very basic feature at this point, and is honestly a near necessity to have when competing. Additionally, to use this app you must pay for a license, meaning I’m paying for a license to use an app that locks out basic key features without option to even pay $5-10 more for certain features 2. Satellite view - I understand it would take more licensing, however I feel like satellite view is another major feature copilot loses out on. Without 1&2, I feel like I’m better off going with a certain competitor, unlike copilot, they do not show exit numbers and their road names data is outdated and often inaccurate. Copilot has had some of the most accurate map data I’ve used in terms of trucking gps, and I highly prefer copilot for Oversize load permits. 3. Speed limits - there is a option in settings to show speed Iimits, and to have alerts when speeding, however despite turning these features on, I have never once been shown a speed limit, nor shown my speed or alerted that im speeding. Not sure if this feature is meant to work at all Really hope these features are added/fixed.

It keep crashing

My app keeps crashing every time I try to pull it up not sure what’s going on. Any answers to what to do thanks.

I've used it for years

Copilot has been a great and necessary part of my arsenal as a private investigator. Sometimes I have been in a places with no coverage, but with the maps already in my phone, I got out of the tight spots I was in.

Trash

Does not have up to date mapping you will end up on a road that doesn’t exist is a dead end a no truck route or is closed. Does not have up to date speed limit so you’ll here beeping all the time Does not have up to date address locations So you’ll be in the middle of nowhere on the wrong side of a whole city. always use google to verify locations. Does not have accurate road/bridge weight So you’ll have to call police to get backed up or turned around because maps routed you thru a 10 ton bridge that doesn’t exist on maps. Place your maps pin there and report it but 3 yrs down the road it’s still not on maps. Does not route properly So you’ll be routed 110 miles around to go 5 miles up and around a corner for no reason at all. Allows fleet to lock maps settings Sometimes fleet jerks change settings to not show bridge and roads weights. Dangerous and short sided. Please remove the lock out feature so drivers can use copilot and it not be rendered entirely irrelevant. In fact remove remote admin all together. There is absolutely no reason to change my settings on my maps that I am using other than harassment.

Updated review

I had originally submitted a one star review because of a feature I thought was not working…I feel a bit silly about how long it took me to figure it out (even with the help of support). Now that I have everything working, I’m glad to give it four stars. I would have given five, but the app often routes my stops out of order (I drive a bus and need to make stops in order). Also, I am frequently routed to approach one of my stops on the wrong side of the road. Otherwise, this app is one I’ve been looking for since starting this job, and I can work around the above mentioned concerns.

Excellent online offline app I use it in a big truck with a grain of salt.

Excellent online offline app to be used with a grain of salt like any big truck gps and its everywhere my phone is. Been using copilot in a big truck and card for years. Love it Thank You

Tanks you now is working

Tanks

Keeps force closing

My app keeps force closing! The last week it keeps force closing and will not open! I've tried deleting and reinstalling. There are no updates, I'm using the updated version. I am paying for something I can not use at all!

Mute button !

I noticed what seems like a new feature - a mute button that appears bottom-right just left of the Top Info Display. First issue: it doesn’t mute the navigation guidance voice if the voice is speaking already when you tap the mute button, but it seems to mute future voice outputs without changing anything (that’s a little weird—it should mute immediately as the driver probably needs to mute the voice immediately to better concentrate on something). Second issue: I didn’t see a way to disable the mute button from appearing either in settings or in the Dashboard Info Display preferences pane. Personally I like the feature and will probably use it, I just wish it worked a little better (see first issue), while others may not see a use for it and would like to disable it from appearing (see second issue). Lastly, it’s a great app that I use nearly every day—thank you to everyone involved with it, and for taking the time to read this review.

Paid year subscription til Aug 4 2025

I’m unsubscribing and notifying my bank to refund my money I paid for a renewal and today I couldn’t use what I paid for , so I’m taking my business elsewhere. I told y’all about this problem months ago and it was resolved but now that I paid for the renewal it’s happening again ! I’m done with this app !

Absolute Garbage

Premium user for about 2 years. This app is a complete waste of your time if you’re a professional driver. It gives incorrect routes and information regularly. It doesn’t provide any useful information in regards to parking and approach like other apps. The updates are huge and come at the worst times. When it’s updating, the app is useless which costs me money waiting for it to fix itself. It glitches regularly and hides the address input bar then I have to close the app repeatedly until the bar reappears. Use any other app, avoid at all costs. Poor coding, poor user interface, bad optimization. Don’t waste your time on this dumpster fire of an application. Response to developer email: Where in any part of this message do you see a question? Your pre-scripted, automated response with absolute nonsense is exactly why your application is garbage.

Where’s CarPlay and Android Auto support?

In addition, the actual mapping is suspect in locations I am familiar with. How can I trust in areas that are new to me. Works okay, but always worried about making random turns on the smaller roads.

Not happy

It takes too long to get it to work. It used to work great. I don’t know what you did, but I’m not happy.

Poor display design

I do not like the new Mute icon on the main navigation screen. The sizing is wrong for its placement and that placement is just wrong, as well. My opinion is, if you want to add blocks to the Nav screen make them user choice. I would like to be able to add one or two more blocks and have ETA, Distance and Time of Arrival all on display, with the current time block being permanent. Again, the addition of the Mute block is really unnecessary and the size and placement detract from the Nav screen.

Not worth it

Until CarPlay is implemented, it’s not worth the cost. This day in age with all vehicles, including semi trucks that have CarPlay enabled stereos. I won’t be using this product, which I use to and purchased until you guys get with the future

Not work on iPhone 15

App won’t open no matter what I do sigh

CarPlay

I sure would like to use it in Apple CarPlay!! I have had this for many years and would like it use it on my CarPlay.

Needs Work

Downloaded the truck trial form use with my RV. I used it in conjunction with my Garmin RV 795. The Co-pilot app didn’t try and take me under low over passes but it did try and send me down primitive roads. The Garmin did a much better job. I was hoping for a good car play option but this isn’t it.

Bugs out a lot

The routing is solid, and the shape route feature is very important for any commercial GPS, unfortunately certain features predictively and constantly bug the software, such as the “avoid this road” feature, if you use that in a trip at all, it will completely break the trip, and you will lose access to any of the shaping features, forcing you to clear the trip and rebuild your route. Heads up traffic breaks a lot, the bar will randomly disappear all together, and the device will get locked in on false road closure reports, messing up the predictive ETA and causing the routing to be useless until past whatever falsified closure reports. And it seems with the online routing edition, they are moving away from the route shaping features that caused this product to stand out in the first place.

Obviously learn how to plan

This gps app has worked out so far. If you plan ahead and know where exactly you want to go with the right vehicle dimensions and restrictions added to settings, it will not mess you up. Learn how to plan before just putting an address and driving off because it might lead you down a road not intended for your vehicle, maybe because you didn’t specify what you are driving.
